Problem: Original F1 felt on the front roof had become worn and torn, with rotten timber fascias, soffits and guttering.
Solution: New breathable felt and battens fitted, existing tiles reused, and new uPVC fascias, soffits and guttering installed.
Description
We were called out by a repeat customer in Cherry Hinton who had been told there was a problem with the roof. The original F1 felt on the front of the main roof had become porous and had started to tear.
We put up scaffolding to the front of the property, then stripped off the front section of the main roof. We fitted new breathable membrane felt and new John Brash battens, then reused the existing tiles so the front of the roof matched the back.
As part of the same job, we removed the old rotten wooden fascias, soffits and guttering and replaced them with new uPVC roofline for a clean, low maintenance finish.
The work took four days to complete.
