Rotten wooden barge boards replaced with new uPVC in Sawston

Problem: Rotten wooden barge boards covered with over cladding.
Solution: Replaced the decayed wooden barge boards with new white UPVC barge boards and tongue and groove soffits.

Description

Browns Roofing were called to a property in Sawston, Cambridgeshire.

We removed the existing over cladding on the gable end and replaced the barge boards with fresh white uPVC. The old wooden barge boards had suffered extensive rot beneath the over cladding PVC.

Additionally, we installed new uPVC tongue and groove soffits.

This project was accomplished in just one day, and all the work was performed from ladders.
