Date: 16th July 2025
Location: Impington, Cambridgeshire
Problem: Squirrels and birds entering the roof via gaps at the eaves.
Solution: Fitting new bird combs to seal off access points while allowing ventilation.
Description
We were contacted by a customer in Impington who we had previously worked with in 2016. They recently got in touch again after noticing that squirrels and birds were getting into the roof space through gaps at the eaves. There had been no preventative measures in place and the issue had started to become more frequent.
To solve the problem, we supplied and fitted bird combs along the eaves. These are specifically designed to stop small animals and birds from entering through the gaps under roof tiles, while still allowing air to circulate.
The job was completed in a single day.
