uPVC Roofline Replacement – Full Roofline Upgrade in Cambridge

Description

The property owner contacted us regarding extensive roofline problems. The original wooden fascias, soffits, guttering, and barge boards had become rotten and ineffective, causing both appearance and maintenance issues. The shared porch at the front of the terrace was also affected, with worn guttering and damaged timbers that required attention.

Our team began by safely erecting scaffolding across the back of the conservatory and along the side car park roof to gain full access to the gable end. We then removed all the existing wooden fascias, soffits and guttering that were beyond repair. Rotten barge boards on the gable end were stripped away and replaced with fresh white uPVC. The soffits on the gable end were also renewed to ensure a clean and durable finish.

Attention was also given to the shared porch, where we fitted new fascias, soffits, guttering, and downpipes on both sides. This not only improved the appearance but also ensured both properties benefitted from reliable drainage and a uniform finish.

The full installation was completed within four days from start to finish. By upgrading to modern white uPVC, the homeowner now has a low-maintenance, weather-resistant roofline that will last for many years. The 10-year guarantee provided additional peace of mind.
