Solution: Scaffolding installed to access rear roofline, full replacement of fascia, soffits and guttering, and repairs to ridge tiles

Description

We visited a home on King Hedges Road, Cambridge, where the roofline and ridge tiles needed replacing. The back of the house had a glass conservatory, so we had to plan access carefully.

We put up scaffolding over the conservatory to work safely. Once in place, we took down the old fascia, soffits and guttering, then fitted new white uPVC replacements, including matching guttering.

We also re-bedded any loose ridge tiles and re-pointed the whole ridge to make sure everything was secure and watertight. The scaffolding came down the same day and all work was completed within one day.
