Rotten Fascia Replacement in Newmarket Road, Cambridge

Problem: The existing wooden fascia boards had deteriorated badly, with areas of rotten timber caused by water getting behind the fascias.
Solution: Rotten timber removed and replaced with new black uPVC fascias and soffits, together with new black round guttering and downpipes on three sides of the property.

Description

We were called to this property in Newmarket Road, Cambridge to replace the existing wooden roofline on three sides of the house.

Once the old fascia boards were removed, the extent of the deterioration could clearly be seen. One of the photographs from the job shows a badly rotten section of timber, a good example of what can happen when water repeatedly gets behind wooden fascias.

All affected timber was removed and the roofline was replaced with new black uPVC fascias and soffits. New black round guttering and downpipes were also fitted around the three sides of the property.

The work took three days to complete.
