Problem: Rotten wooden shiplap at the front and rear of the property.
Solution: Removal of the existing timber and installation of anthracite grey uPVC shiplap, together with new black half-round guttering and black downpipes.
Description
The homeowner contacted Browns Roofing after we completed a similar project for his neighbour across the road, who was happy to recommend us.
The existing wooden shiplap at the front and rear of the property had become rotten and needed to be removed. Once the old timber had been stripped away, the exposed areas were prepared ready for the new roofline materials.
We fitted anthracite grey uPVC shiplap across both sides of the property. The darker finish works particularly well with the existing grey windows and gives the house a much cleaner, more modern appearance.
New black half-round guttering and matching black downpipes were also installed, completing the roofline and providing a consistent finish across the property.
The whole project was completed within two days. The homeowner now has a smart, low-maintenance uPVC finish that will not require the regular painting and upkeep associated with wooden cladding.
