Date: 1st October 2020
Location: Dry Drayton, Cambridge
Problem: Bird damage
Solution: New roofline, eave trays and bird combs
Description
We discovered birds nesting under the tiles, causing damage to the eaves and felt. Also, the cover on the box section end of the gable was rotten.
We set to work by first stripping off the wooden fascias and guttering. We then supplied and installed new guttering, fascia and soffits. Finally, we installed new eave trays and bird combs.
Previously, the homeowner had planned to have the roofline painted but in the end, our uPCV roofline worked out cheaper.
The work took 3 days and we made sure that the outside of the property was left clear and clean of debris before leaving.
